About Me
Marcus has been actively involved in the Metro-Detroit area residential and commercial real estate market since 2005. He graduated from Cass Technical High School and Oakland University with a Bachelor of Science Degree concentrating in Business Management.
As a real estate professional and entrepreneur, Marcus is experienced in all aspects of retail and commercial banking, and real estate brokerage and management. Marcus also has a broad understanding of the development and asset management of office, retail and multifamily properties.
Since 2005, Marcus has successfully worked for some of Michigan’s largest banking institutions, residential/commercial lending companies, and real estate brokerages. His responsibilities included customer relationship management, credit risk management, and the leasing and sale of real estate assets including; office, industrial, retail, multifamily, single family residential and vacant land. Marcus has represented private and institutional organizations in both the acquisition and disposition of real estate assets throughout Michigan. During his tenure with Royce Kennedy Realty, Marcus also developed relationships with developers such as Pulte Homes, Toll Brothers Luxury Home Builders, and a host of lending institutions and credit counselors.
Marcus also has a specialized niche in distressed seller and first time home buyer programs. He is an expert in HUD properties/programs, Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac home programs, MSHDA (Michigan State Housing and Development Authority) home programs and financing, FHA/VA home programs and financing, short sales for distressed sellers, and Sherriff sales. Marcus teaches home ownership and counseling classes with Central Detroit Christian, Focus Hope, and Neighborhood Legal Services (NLS). He works closely with the Detroit Land Bank Authority (DLBA), and many financial lenders. Marcus also possesses an additional real estate license to practice in the state of Georgia.
