About Me

Larry Rivers is a native of Detroit, Michigan and graduate from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor campus. At U of M he obtained a bachelors degree with an emphasis in Business and Communications. Since the early 1980’s, Mr. Rivers worked in the area of property management. After almost 30 years of experience he opened his own brokerage firm entitled Team LBR, LLC. Team LBR was incorporated in June of 2010.

Mr. Rivers has extensive experience in multifamily housing. He has managed capital improvement programs in excess of 6 Million dollars through the Department of Housing and Urban Development Flexible Subsidy Program. For the past 15 years he has developed a “niche” for single family property management and become an integral part of the City of Detroit’s revitalization.  Team LBR has clients in France, United Kingdom, Nigeria and China to name a few.  Since 2010, with the leadership of Larry Rivers, Team LBR has grown internally to employ property managers, real estate sales, accounting staff, an administrative support team and more than 30 other small businesses.

Mr. Rivers is a member of the Independent Business Association (IBA) whose objective is to increase development, create wealth through profitability, build political influence and community outreach.  Larry is active in developing the programs that IBA provides for entrepreneurs.  His ability to build structure, develop leaders and strong teams, and manage client relationships are strengths that he is looking forward to sharing with the community and clients.
